I race motocross, outdoors. It depends where you live though, and what size bike you have but generally everywhere has an outdoor track locally that is suitable for any skill level and bike size. If you are really serious about it, and have it available, try supercross out.

If you have not actually raced mx before I firstly would not attempt supercross unless you are into broken bones.
Have you joined a local club? as that is the best place to start racing. Go to dirtwerkz.com and look up local tracks in your area and join up. Don't race till you have practiced the track. Then try a club day race. If you already are a member of a local club then find out when the next race meet is and have a go.
